Summer is by far one of our favorite seasons here at Hofbräuhaus. The weather is warm, and there seems to be a skip in everyone’s step. It is the season of parties, nights out and outdoor dining.

The question becomes “where can you and your squad go to celebrate the big and little things in life?” Well, since you asked, we happen to know a perfect German place that has great Bier, good food…and happens to have ideal photo ops.

That place, of course, is here at Hofbräuhaus Pittsburgh!

Big Events With Intimate Gatherings

The Stube, or The Room in German, is one of our favorite places in Our Haus. One can book this large room for groups of 40 to 100 people. The Stube offers your guests the option of an intimate event with enough room for everyone to celebrate.

Allow us to let our nerd flag fly for a moment while we explain just a bit of what makes the Stube perfect for your next event.

This blogger’s favorite feature of the space is its ambiance for any event. Large chandeliers hang from high ceilings with beautiful beams. The wood detail and giant windows give The Stube a whimsical and romantic feeling, whether your event is day or night.

Events are enjoyable here at Hofbräuhaus by planning menus with a little bit of something for all your guests. We work with clients to plan the right food and Bier(s) to make your party an unforgettable gathering.

One of the best and most cost-effective ways to enjoy one of the best cities in America is to be a hometown tourist. That is, do things in your city that tourists may do or that you have not done. Here are some ways that we can help you make the very best of your local Bier Hall.

A Great Night Out

We fancy our Bier Terrace as one of the best places to have a meal with a view of the skyline, river, and neighboring colleges.

In addition, the Bier Terrace is a perfect place to bring friends and family visiting from out of town. If your guests ask for a recommendation, we suggest this month’s pairing, the Sweet Chipotle BBQ Chicken and our Hopfen Weizen (5.4% Alc. by Vol.). The sweet & smokey Chipotle BBQ sauce on the chicken is incredible when complemented with the banana tones in the Hopfen.

The Hopfen is our Seasonal Bier this month and is perfect for warm summer nights. Our Seasonal Biers are introduced monthly at our keg tappings, which are special events in themselves.

Our Promotion With Stage AE

If you’re enjoying a concert this Summer, don’t forget about our current partnership with Stage AE! Bring your ticket to any 2022 concert at Stage AE, and we will give you a free pretzel with Bier cheese. (One ticket per person, please.)

This promotion is the perfect beginning to any night out to refuel after rocking out to your favorite band.

College Night in the Bier Hall

If you’re looking for relief from rising temperatures and want to have fun, we recommend our Bier Hall. The massive brewing kettles behind the bar make for the perfect selfie spot.

The Bier Hall is also the perfect spot-on Thursday evenings for our college night from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• All those 21 years old and over are invited, and you do not have to be an official college student to attend.
• $6.00 Liters of our flagship Biers
• $6.00 Bier Pretzels Appetizers
• The fantastic Haus Band Trio plays German drinking songs and classic rock.

Whether you’re in college or miss those good old days, the Bier Hall in the place to be on Thursday nights this Summer.
